Sundar Raj told that after the closure of the firing, the police team has started a search operation in the area. So far, the bodies of 10 Naxalites have been recovered.

The official said that the killed Maoists are being identified and more information is being taken in this regard. The injured jawan is being pulled out of the jungle.

Bijapur Superintendent of Police Mohit Garg said, “This was a joint operation of Chhattisgarh and Telangana police. According to preliminary information, 10 Maoists were killed in an encounter at around 6.30 in the morning.
