“India will continue with its efforts through international forums to ensure that terrorist organizations and their leaders who cause harm to its citizens are brought to justice,” the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

A U.N. Security Council committee blacklisted Masood Azhar, chief of militant group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) on Wednesday after China dropped its objection to designate Azhar a terrorist, ending a long diplomatic impasse.

On Valentine’s Day, when the entire world celebrates the teachings of Saint Valentine, JeM carried out a ghastly terror attack on south Kashmir’s Pulwama that killed at least 40 CRPF personnel. The attack spiked Indo-Pak tensions right before the onset of national elections.
