After the rising tide over the border in Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan once again again unleashed the tension of Kashmir in the UN Security Council. Also, they have been accused of ‘selective implementation’ in their resolution.

Speaking on the UN Security Council’s functioning during the session on Tuesday, Permanent Representative of the United Nations, Miliha Lodhi, said: “Not as much as what is being discounted due to selective implementation on the credentials of the Council, ”

Malihah further said- The council should therefore continue to review the implementation of its resolution from time to time. Especially, over the long pending issues like Jammu Kashmir Malhiha Lodhi said that if the council fails to implement its resolution, it will not only weaken the Council in front of the world, but it will also have an impact on the United Nations.

The reference to Malihah was on behalf of the 1948 Council Resolution, in which the referendum has been said to determine the future of Kashmir. Along with that, Malihah has also demanded a return from the Pakistani tribal who went there. India has said that the tribals were Pakistani soldiers who had tried to grab Kashmir.
