32 lakh 48 thousand people have got a residential land so far
It has been decided by the state government to provide land for housing to the homeless people. Land rights campaign has been started for this mission. In the campaign, land area has been given for housing to more than 32 lakh 48 thousand landless people till 18th May. According to the advice of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, the campaign to provide land for housing to all the dwellers of the state is continuing. In this regard, the law has also been made in the state.
It has also been decided by the state government that if a person has constructed a house  before December 31, 2014, then the land will be allotted to him/her. In this regard, necessary amendments have been made in the Acts.
This residential land area has been given in the declared area, in the declared population, in the non-interference land, administration of the habitat interference act and in the urban areas under lease rights.
Principal Secretary Revenue Arun Pandey has informed that 61 thousand 946 in District Sheopur, 52 thousand 660 in Murraya, 99 thousand 700 in Bhind, 44 thousand 809 in Gwalior, 59 lakh 544 in Shivpuri, 59 thousand 518 in Guna, 51 thousand 464 in Ashoknagar, 18 thousand 283 in Datia, 75 thousand 740 in Dewas, 66 thousand 43 in Ratlam, 18 thousand 75 in Shajapur, 32 thousand 113 in Agra, 46 thousand 866 in Mandsaur, 34 thousand 728 in Neemuch, in Ujjain 98 thousand 230, 70 thousand 922 in Indore, 24 thousand 78 in Dhar, 32 thousand 905 in 7605, Khargone Abua, 2,365 persons in 3577, 6956 in Khandwa, 24 thousand 158 Burhanpur and Alirajpur Barwani to have been delivered residential lease.
