Detailed review of the earnings by the Chief Minister.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has appealed to the farmers to bring their crops for sale on the dates indicated by SMS only in their crop markets. This will facilitate the sale of crop to them and other farmers’ brothers. Shri Chouhan informed that the arrangements have been made to inform the farmers about the date of purchase by SMS.
Chief Minister Chouhan has assured the farmers that each granary of their fields, lentil and mustard crop will be bought at the support price, the farmers should have a little patience. The Chief Minister has instructed the officers that farmers should not have any problem in their crops getting sold. Proper payment and immediate payment should be made. Chauhan today detailed review of the accumulation work in the Chief Minister’s residence in the state.
During the review, CM was informed that more than 880,000 farmers of the state have so far sold 67 lakh 78 thousand metric tonnes of wheat at the support price. The payment of 91 percent of the purchase price has been made to the farmers in their bank accounts. It was informed on the occasion that the procurement of gram, musser and mustard has been started at 593 purchase centers. Total 9 lakh 46 thousand 861 metric tons of gram, musser and mustard have been procured from 4 lakh 19 thousand 393 farmers in the state. The Chief Minister praised the better arrangement of wheat procurement and congratulated the officials.
On this occasion Additional Chief Secretary Finance Mr. A.P. Shrivastav, Commissioner of Agricultural Production, Mr. P.C. Chief Secretary Ashok Charakal, Principal Secretary Agriculture Dr. Rajesh Rajaura, Principal Secretary Co-operation K.C. Gupta, Principal Secretary Food and Civil Supplies Neelam Shami Rao, Commissioner Mandi Board Faiz Ahmed Kidwai were present.
