The 11th edition of IPL, which is the Indian Premier League, will start on April 7 and its final will be played on 27th May. IPL Operations Council today gave this information. An inauguration ceremony will be organized in Mumbai.

The IPL Governing Council has also decided to change the match time, which started earlier this afternoon from 4 am and 8 pm. IPL chairman Rajeev Shukla said, “The broadcasters had requested change in time of matches and the IPL Governing Council has accepted it legally.”

He said, “Now, the live broadcast of 8 o’clock matches will be from 7 AM and at 4 PM matches will be 5 PM tomorrow. Kings XI Punjab will play four home matches in Mohali and three in Indore. Following the 2-year ban, domestic matches of Rajasthan Royals who return to the IPL will be decided after the hearing on January 24 of the Rajasthan High Court.

The IPL will be held on January 27 and 28, in which the bid of 578 players including 360 Indians will be seen.

According to media reports, more than 1000 players had registered for the auction, but the BCCI retorted and took 578 players.
