The two politically giant parties, BJP & Congress, got in a Twitter feud on early Thursday morning, post the big move but a predictable one by China to not designate Masood Azhar as a global terrorist at UN Security Council on Wednesday.

New Delhi: China blocked all efforts of UN Security Council to terror tag Masood Azhar, who is chief of Jaish-e-Mohammed, on Wednesday late night.

The Asian superpower, who is also an ally to Pakistan has blocked the move for the fourth consecutive time in last 10 years.

The move by United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to terror-tag Masood Azhar came post the February 14 Pulwama attack for which Jaish claimed responsibility. The ghastly suicide bomb attack killed 40 CRPF soldiers.

China’s regular act to safeguard Masood Azhar sparked a feud between the major political parties, BJP & Congress. It began when Congress chief dissed the current Prime Minister Narendra Modi for being “weak” and “scared” of Xi.

“Weak Modi is scared of Xi. Not a word comes out of his mouth when China acts against India,” said Rahul Gandhi taking a jibe at BJP, post-China’s move to block UNSC’s effort to designate Masood Azhar a global terrorist.

In response to Congress’s tweet, BJP Twitter-handle said, “China wouldn’t be in UNSC had your great grandfather not ‘gifted’ it to them at India’s cost.”

The statement also read, “India is undoing all mistakes of your family. Be assured that India will win the fight against terror. Leave it to PM Modi while you keep cosying up with the Chinese envoys secretly.”
