New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi at India Today Conclave on Saturday amidst discussing a wide range of issues said, “Results would have been different if India had Rafale.”

Taking a dig at opposition on Saturday, PM Modi at the 2019 India Today Conclave said, “The entire country felt the need of Rafale. Results would have been different with Rafale.”

PM Modi went onto elaborate that it was the fighter aircraft – Rafale’s absence which caused great hardship to the nation.

In retrospection of the recent most clashes with the opposition on Rafale deal, PM Modi stated that due to opposition’s personal and political interests, security of the nation has been jeopardized.

PM Modi continuing to talk about the escalating tension between the nations requested opposition and said, “Do people believe the Indian Army or doubt it? One half of the nation (BJP) is in solidarity with them but the other half (Congress) is under suspicion. The statements and articles by such people have been flashed by Pakistani media as a proof against India.”

PM Modi said, “Stop playing politics for intellectual ego and vote bank for it is weakening and hampering India’s security.”

Jaish-e-Mohammed, a terror-based outfit which finds solace in Pakistan claimed responsibility for recent killing of a CRPF convoy wherein around 40 soldiers were martyred in south Kashmir’s Pulwama on February 14 with an improvised explosive device (IED) fixated in car.

Modi pointing at JeM said, “The opposition can take a jibe at BJP (central government), our schemes, weaknesses, however, opposing the country’s stance is unacceptable. In the victory of this “Modi dislike”, terrorists like Masood Azhar find strength,” he added.
