Notification was published by the state government in the Madhya Pradesh Gazette on June 2, 2023 for receiving objections and suggestions from the public under Section-19 (2) of Madhya Pradesh Town and Country Planning for modification in the Bhopal Development Plan Draft-2031. In 30 days from the draft publication, 3005 objections and suggestions were received. Online hearing on the objections and suggestions received by the Urban Development and Housing Department will be held from August 9. Deputy Secretary Urban Development and Housing Shri K.V.S. Kolsani has been authorised for hearing.
9 chat rooms ready for hearing
Principal Secretary Urban Development and Housing Shri Neeraj Mandloi has informed that 9 chat-rooms have been prepared in the Directorate of Town and Country Planning, District Office Town and Country Planning Bhopal and State Town Planning Institute for online hearing. All the people who have objected are divided into 320 groups. Each group has been informed about the date and time to be present in the chat-room. Online hearing will be held from 9th August to 4th September 2023. Hearing will be held from August 9 to 11 in the first phase, August 16 to 18 in the second phase, August 21 to 25 in the third phase, August 28 to 29 in the fourth phase, August 31 to September 1 in the fifth phase and September 4 and 5 2023 in the sixth and final phase
Notification has also been sent to the persons giving objections and suggestions by letter at the address mentioned in the objection submitted by them. Along with this, information has also been given through WhatsApp message and e-mail. The complete list, link and procedure for joining the hearing through video conferencing has also been published on the website http://mptownplan.gov.in/. Such objectors, who have not received the notice of hearing, can obtain the letter related to the notice of hearing from the Help Centre set up in Directorate of Town and Country Planning. For any reason, if the concerned person who has given objection/suggestion could not participate on the scheduled time, he can request on mobile number 9753810032 and e-mail alpass-tcp@mp.gov.in within 24 hours. Such persons may be given a last chance to be heard again.
