Producer Prakash Jha was messed up, his face spread with ink on Sunday when a gathering of Bajrang Dal individuals went out of control on the arrangement of his web series being shot in Bhopal, the police said.

Recordings shot by observers on cellphones showed Bajrang Dal individuals pursuing down group individuals, figuring out how to get somewhere around one of them and beating him cruelly with a metal light stand.

Individuals from the traditional gathering said Prakash Jha’s web series ‘Ashram’ featuring Bobby Deol was an attack on Hinduism and they won’t permit its shooting till the title was changed.

Mr Jha, who has not recorded a grievance regarding the present situation yet, has guaranteed that he will change the name of the series, a Bajrang Dal pioneer said.

A horde of Bajrang Dal individuals assaulted the set in the evening, yelling mottos like “Prakash Jha Murdabad”, “Bobby Deol Murdabad” and “Jai Shri Ram”.

“They made Ashram 1, Ashram 2 and were shooting Ashram 3 here. Prakash Jha displayed in Ashram that the master was mishandling ladies. Does he have the guts to make such a film on a congregation or madrasa? Who does he think he is?” Bajrang Dal pioneer Sushil Sudeley said.

“Bajrang Dal challenges him, we will not allow him to make this film. So far we have quite recently darkened Prakash Jha’s face. We are searching for Bobby Deol. He ought to take in something from his sibling (Sunny Deol). He made such devoted motion pictures,” he added.

The police have said that despite the fact that nobody from Mr Jha’s group has squeezed charges, those elaborate will be recognized and captured.

“Move will be made against the individuals who upset the shooting and vandalized property today itself. They will be captured,” senior cop Irshad Wali said.

In 2017, another conservative gathering Karni Sena had assaulted the arrangements of the Deepika Padukone starrer Padmaavat, attacking chief Sanjay Leela Bhansali and other team individuals and driving the film to adjust scenes and change its name from Padmaavati.

Recently, Amazon needed to release an expression of remorse and make changes to its Saif Ali Khan starrer web series Tandav after it confronted complaints from some Hindu gatherings and the makers were undermined with capture by the Uttar Pradesh government.
