Shweta told a top newspaper that she prefers to concentrate on her children and their well-being over her own difficulties. “Life is full of ups and downs. However, if you set aside your objectives, priorities, and obligations in order to pursue the problems or people who are causing the difficulties, you will feel lost in life. My children are my top focus. I’m going to concentrate on them and keep working since that’s the only way I’ll be able to succeed in the long run,” she explained. Shweta Tiwari, who is embroiled in a divorce battle with her estranged spouse Abhinav Kohli, has stated that her children come first. Palak, with ex-husband Raja Chaudhary, and Reyansh, with Abhinav, are her two children.

Abhinav recently accused Shweta of refusing to let him contact their son Reyansh and ‘illegally detain(ing)’ him in an ‘undisclosed location’ while she was in Cape Town filming Khatron Ke Khiladi 11. She refuted the accusations, claiming that she kept him up to date. “I don’t owe anyone an explanation or justification because I know what’s best for my children. I am the only one who is aware of it. I know how to keep my kids physically and mentally healthy, offer them a better life, and take care of them,” she said, adding that she doesn’t live her life by someone else’s moral compass, but by her definition of right and wrong, as well as what is best for her children.

Shweta described herself as “totally committed” to her children, saying, “I welcome those who wish to forget about their obligations and concerns and make me the center of their existence. However, meri Zindagi Mein Aur Kisi ke liye koi jagah nahi hai siwaai mere bachhon and meri family ka (no one else has a place in my life but my children and family).” Shweta has previously accused Abhinav of “not donating a single dime to the development of children.” In an Instagram video, he retaliated by claiming that he had placed monies into her account online.
