5 Security Personnel Killed In Encounter With Maoists In Chhattisgarh

When the gunbattle broke out in the district’s Tarrem town, security personnel from the CRPF’s elite CoBRA (Commando Battalion for Resolute Action) squad, the District Reserve Guard (DRG), and the Special Task Force (STF) were out carrying anti-Maoist operations.

This comes ┬áday after Maoists attacked a bus carrying 27 DRG (District Reserve Guard) troops in Chhattisgarh’s Naryanpur district, killing five police officers and injuring 14.
