The National Council of Educational Research and Training’s Manodarpan Cell (Department of Educational Psychology and Foundations of Education) has invited applications from candidates to prepare a panel for recruitment under different posts.

The positions will be provided on a contract basis under the ‘Manodarpan’ programme. This will provide psychological support for student’s mental health and well-being during the Covid-19 outbreak and beyond.

It has been approved by the Ministry of Education’s Project Approval Board (PAB) for the years 2021-22 till March 22, 2022.

Vacancies

Senior Consultant: 1 post

Eligibility: Post Graduation in Psychology/Social Work/human Development/Education with qualifications as per UGC Guidelines for Assistant Professor at entry-level.

Five years experience in the relevant field. Experience in the field of Guidance and Counselling

Desirable: Ph. D. in a relevant subject, Working knowledge of MS-Excel, MS-Word, and other software.

Remuneration: Rs 60,000

Consultant: 1 Post

Essential: Post Graduation in Psychology/Social Work/Human Development/Education with qualifications as per UGC Guidelines for Assistant Professor at entry-level.

Desirable: Experience in the field of Guidance and Counselling. Working knowledge of MS-Excel, MS-Word, and other software

Remuneration: Rs 45,000 

Junior Project Fellow (JPF)-2 Posts

Essential: Post Graduation in Psychology/Human Development/Social Work/Education with minimum 55% marks or equivalent (50% marks or equivalent in case of SC/ST/PH)

Desirable: Basic knowledge of Computers for processing data, preparing reports. etc.

Remuneration: Rs. 25,000 for NET Qualified and Rs. 23,000 for Non-NET Qualified.

Age Limit: Below 40 years as per UGC guidelines (5 years relaxation in case of SC, ST, and female candidates and 3 years in case of OBC candidates). Candidates who have already served as JPF in NCERT for two and half years not apply.
