Madhya Pradesh will be bestowed with a huge gift of 5 road projects worth approximately Rs 2,300 crore today.

On Monday, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari to lay foundation of 5 road projects of 119 km length and will inaugurate the Way Side Amenity at Brilliant Convention Centre in Indore.

Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways, Civil Aviation, General V.K. Singh will attend the programme through video conference.

This programme is being organised by the National Highways Authority of India.

Foundation stone laying of 5 road projects and dedication of Way-Side Amenity

These road projects, to be built at a cost of more than Rs 2300 crore, will change the picture of the infrastructure of the state.

The five road projects include 4 lane from Tejaji Nagar to Balwara Indore-Burhanpur section in Indore city on National Highway-34786, 4 lane on Indore-Raghogarh-Indore-Harda section National Highway-47, 6 lane flyover of Rau circle Indore, reconstruction of service road on DPS Rau circle Indore lane and strengthening of existing road from Tejaji Nagar to Balwara National Highway-34786.
