The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is launching a new cybersecurity online training course. the course includes a webinar, course materials, and a Google Classroom assessment.

According to a CBSE announcement, the webinar would be held in ten different languages.

In a letter to the heads of all its affiliated schools across the country, it wrote, “We are living in the 21st century with various digital gadgets, connected to the entire world through the Internet. From social media to online banking and financial transactions, maintaining digital records to online shopping and online classes, every thread of our lives is available on the internet.”

These webinars will be live-streamed on the Board’s YouTube page. With the specialists offering information on the course and its nuances it will be a great experience.

We can easily pass on all information quickly in the linked world. It will allow us to interact and receive the information we need for personal and professional life.

These network connections, on the other hand, make our devices more vulnerable to harm and our data more accessible to theft. Hackers can use a tunnel to gain access to our data. Later which they can use it for their own purpose.

This problem can be solved with the help of cyber and network security.
In essence, everyone needs Cyber Security to protect their data and essential information.

From July 15, 2021, a link for Google Classrooms will be available at https://cybersecuritycbse.blogspot.com.

Through the CBSE Centre of Excellence, the Board has shared teacher IDs with the schools. On successful completion of the assessment, participants will receive e-certificates.

Participants will have access to an assessment link in their assigned classroom from August 2, 2021, to August 31, 2021, as per the CBSE letter.
