Owning to the increasing number of COVID cases in Madhya Pradesh, the state government extended the corona curfew in Bhopal ,Chhindwara , guna, Ratlam , Jabalpur and sagar.

According to reports, Government extended the corona curfew in the city until May 3. On April 13, the city placed a corona curfew, which was set to expire on April 26. This has been extended until May 3 in order to curb the unexpected increase in the number of infections.

The corona curfew will not affect essential facilities, and people coming in or departing the city by train, plane, or other means will not be sabotaged.

People will be able to purchase daily necessities during the lockout, according to the instructions. Despite having 7,000 beds in local hospitals, the district is falling short of supplying beds to COVID-19, according to the decree.

 Bhopal ready to fight covid with 20 isolation train coaches

Officials said that twenty isolation coaches with over 300 beds for COVID-19 patients became operational at the Bhopal railway station on Sunday, in an effort to reduce the pressure on hospitals, which are seeing a scramble for beds due to an increase in coronavirus cases.

After reviewing the facilities, state Medical Education Minister Vishvas Sarang told reporters that the coaches are fitted with critical drugs and personnel, and oxygen cylinders will be made available for emergency use.

“Coolers and mosquito nets have also been placed in these isolation coaches to ensure COVID-19 patients’ comfort throughout the season. Patient admission has begun in these coaches “He said.

The West Central Railway has deployed 20 isolation coaches at the Bhopal station in an effort to solve the issue of hospital bed shortages caused by the increasing number of COVID-19 incidents.

In a tweet on Saturday, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal wrote, “The Indian Railways has arranged for 20 Covid Care Coaches with 320 beds in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. These coaches will be fully operational from Sunday, April 25.”

According to a West Central Railways Bhopal division official, these coaches have been stationed on platform no. 6 of the state capital’s railway station.
