Amit Mistry, a famous Gujarati and Hindi film actor who starred in films such as Shor In The City, Bey Yaar, and the Amazon Prime Video series Bandish Bandits, died on Friday after suffering cardiac arrest, according to his manager.

The 47-year-old actor was with his mother at his Andheri home when he passed away around 9.30 a.m. “He awoke, had his tea, and even went for a walk before going into cardiac arrest. He was in perfect physical condition. Amit didn’t have any underlying medical issues. It’s surprising news, to say the least “Maharshi Desai, the actor’s manager, revealed.

The actor was a well-known figure in Gujarati theatre. His work in Hindi films such as Kya Kehna and Ek Chalis Ki Last Local, as well as his collaborations with filmmaker Raj-DK on films such as 99, Shor In The City, and A Gentleman, garnered him a lot of recognition.

Last year’s hit series Bandish Bandits earned Amit Mistry acclaim for his role as musician Devendra Rathod. His TV credits include Yeh Duniya Hai Rangeen, a famous program.

Mistry’s death came as a shock to his coworkers and business peers. “Brother Amit, it’s hard to imagine that someone so vibrant is no longer with us. Continue to spread love in the same way you always have, wherever you are “His co-star in Bandish Bandits, actor Rajesh Tailang, took to Twitter to express his gratitude.
