Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said the citizens have to use different portals for different services.

All portals have different complexities, he said.

This adds to the problems of the citizens. Departments should work towards reducing the number of portals, he said.

Portals of the same nature should be integrated keeping in view the convenience of the citizens, he said.

Work towards creating a unified portal for various services by setting timelines should be done.

Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing a meeting related to Citizen Service Delivery Portal at his residence office.

Science and Technology Minister Omprakash Sakhlecha, Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, Additional Chief Secretary General Administration Vinod Kumar, Principal Secretary Finance Manoj Govil, Principal Secretary Science & Technology Amit Rathore, Managing Director Madhya Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation Limited Nand Kumaram and other officials were present.

It was informed that the service for providing beneficiary oriented certificates for citizen service delivery would be brought under e-service portal or e-district portal.

For Citizen based plans of departments of one sector, one type of portal will be developed for departments related to similar activities like agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry, fisheries, cooperatives etc, the official note said.

Similarly, work will be done in the direction of making one portal for payment related schemes to the beneficiary and one portal for subsidy.
