Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan tweeted “Hindu religious sentiments have been hurt by Mahua Moitra’s statement”.

Adding he said “insult of Hindu deities will not be tolerated at any cost.”

In related development, MP Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra has personally written a letter to Twitter management requesting to come forward to ensure that no religious sentiments are hurt using Twitter as tool.

He tweeted persons with pervert mindset affect the religious sentiments using Twitter as tool, to stop such persons a letter has written to Twitter.

The MP Home Department has already written to the Twitter Management in this matter, Mishra said.

Meanwhile various FIRs are registered in different places against TMC MP Mahua Moitra including Bhopal, Jabalpur and Ratlam over her alleged controversial statement of Goddess Kali. The cases are registered under section 295A of IPC for hurting religious sentiments.

Another FIR is filed against Manimekalai with the crime branch of MP Police at Bhopal on a complaint of BJP leader and patron of Jagrat Hindu Manch Durgesh Keswani under section 295-A.

Keswani alleged the film-maker insulted the Goddess for cheap publicity of her documentary “Kaali”. The Toronto-based director is also facing FIRs in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh.
