The MP Police’s special investigation team (SIT) will now probe the suspicious death of B.Tech student Nishank Rathore studying in Bhopal.

State Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra has issued instructions to the police in this matter.

The SIT will probe the death from all angles including about the transactions of money done by the deceased like investment in cryptocurrency, etc, the minister said.

Mishra said in preliminary investigation it seems to be a suicide, but the message received by Nishank’s father has made the case suspicious.

Raisen Superintendent of Police VK Shahwal told local reporters that the SIT is constituted on instructions of the Home Minister. Additional Superintedent of Police Raisen Amrit Meena will head the SIT.

Two days back the body of Nishank was found on the railway track at Barkheda in Raisen district.

Umashankar Rathore father of deceased reportedly got suspicious over death of Nishank after received a message read ‘Gustak-e-Nabi ki ek saja, sar tan se juda…’ from Nishank’s mobile phone to him and his friends.

The police have done verification of spot where his body was found twice. Also the police was gathering clues from nearby place.

Further in preliminary investigation it is found the deceased came to Barkheda from Bhopal alone was revealed from the CCTV videos, the police said. In the short PM report, it revealed that Nishank died after being hit by a train.
