YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, is scheduled to visit Delhi for a visit on Thursday. In these two days, he will meet several Union Ministers including Minister for Home Affairs, Amit Shah, and Minister of Water Resources, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.

The news agency PTI reports that the chief ministers released his statement, Jagan Mohan Reddy, discussed outstanding issues of the state, including the release of funds for the Polavaram irrigation project (CMO). On Friday afternoon he will go back to Amaravati.

Polavaram is a multi-purpose irrigation project under construction on the Godavari river in West Godavari and East Godavari.

When he met Shah at his residence in December of last year, Reddy discussed the project details.

On Tueday, the head of Andhra Pradesh wrote to Premier Narendra Modi, seeking intervention to incorporate the creation of fundamental infrastructure in greenfield settlements in support to Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana state governments (PMAY).

In his letter to PM Modi, Reddy mentioned that, in the past 7 years with the release of the main assistance of nearly os 3 lakh crore, the Center approved more than 3 Crore House in Andhra Pradesh.

Earlier this week he also declared that vaccine should be the top national agenda of the Centre’s decision to offer free Covid 19 vaccines to all citizens above the age of 18.

In a tweet, the chief minister said, “Vaccination is the only weapon in this battle against Covid-19. Sincere thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji for clearing this uncertainty and making vaccination a national agenda of utmost priority.”

A major decision today announced that the centre will procure 25 per cent of Covid 19 vaccines to be carried out in countries, the Prime Minister announced on a centralised vaccine drive. The decision shall be applied by June 21 within two weeks.
