Indian gymnast Aruna Reddy made history by winning a bronze medal in the gymnastics World Cup in Melbourne. This 22-year-old girl, Aruna stood third in the Woman event. With winning a bronze medal, she has become the first woman to win medal in gymnastics. Reddy scored 13.649 in medal round. India’s Pranti Nayak stayed at sixth position.
Apart from Aruna in the tournament, Tzasa Chlicelef of Slovakia won a gold medal with a score of 13.800 while hosts Australia’s Emily Whitehead scored a silver medal at 13.699.
