The body of a 30-year-old man who was missing after the incident of stone pelting on the Ram Navami procession followed by arson in Khargone was kept in a government hospital at Indore.

According to the police the body of Ibresh Khan was kept in the government hospital as there was no freezer facility available in Khargone.

The incident of stone pelting on the Ram Navami procession followed by arson on April 10 later curfew was imposed in the Khargone city.

The family member of Ibresh lodged a complaint of his missing on April 14, the police said.

On April 11 an unidentified body of man with serious head injuries was found in Anand Nagar area was shifted to the government hospital in Indore for postmortem as no facility was available at Khargone.

Ikhlaq Khan a brother of Ibresh reportedly alleged the police kept the family members in the dark about the whereabouts of his brother for eight days.

The family members of Ibresh identified his body thereupon was handed over to his family members on Sunday, the police said.
