Twitter stated earlier this year at its Analyst Day that it is developing a new paid service called Super Follows that will allow users to charge for their content. Jane Manchun Wong, a reverse engineer, has released some screenshots of what it could look like. The screenshots also give the impression that the service would be available soon. The Super Follows service will be limited to users with more than 10,000 followers, who have written at least 25 tweets in the last 30 days, and who are 18 years or older, according to Wong’s research.

Users of Super Follows will be able to categorize their content under headings such as Adult material, Beauty, Comedy, B2B, and more, according to Wong. Content creators will reportedly be able to post to Facebook, Twitch, and OnlyFans, among other venues.

Users of Super Follows will supposedly be able to earn money for each new individual that signs up for the service. A snapshot also shows an earnings estimate, implying that the service will cost $4.99 per month or Rs 360 per month. Users will be able to subscribe to special material from producers and receive Super Follower labels through the Super Follows program.

Twitter, which presently derives money from adverts and sponsored posts, may be able to increase revenue by allowing users to purchase Super Follows. Super Follows on Twitter will allow users to charge their followers for exclusive and additional content. This might be anything from extra tweets to newsletter subscriptions to access to a community group to a badge to show your support.

Finally, Twitter is launching a ‘Safety Mode,’ which will allow users to “Autoblock accounts that may use violent language or send repeat, unwanted replies for 7 days.” Accounts that follow the user or with whom the user frequently interacts will not be immediately blocked, according to the functionality.
