The Bemetara district administration also became operational after the Chhattisgarh government asked the Collector to enforce a lockdown. The lockout has been declared in the urban core. Collector Shiv Anant Tayal has confirmed that the lockdown is only in the district’s three urban body areas. On Thursday  118 Corona patients were found in the district.
