The district health authority has issued order to cancel the license of the New Life Multispeciality Hospital on Tuesday.
The Chief Medical and Health Officer has issued the order to cancel the license of the hospital on basis of the deaths of eight persons including patients in the fire incident on Monday.
The Vijay Nagar Police Station in Jabalpur has registered an FIR of culpable homicide not amounting to murder against five persons including four doctors of the hospital.
The police registered the case and has interrogated the hospital staff.
According to the police the doctors are at large and the teams are searching them.
The case is registered under sections 304 , 308 and 34 of IPC, the police said.
Chief Medical and Health Officer Jabalpur, has issued the order to this effect.
The registration/license of New Life Multispeciality Hospital is revoked following death of 8 persons in the fire incident on August 1, 2022, the Chief Medical and Health Officer order said.
