Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today inaugurated the newly re-developed area of Chandni Chowk, which, he said, is geared toward attracting more visitors.
In his address, the Chief Minister said, “Delhi is identified with Chandni Chowk within the whole world. Initially, its image was of broken roads, traffic jams and electric wires. But, the Delhi government worked for 3 years for its re-development and beautification which are completed today.”

“People from everywhere Delhi are coming to work out how beautiful this place has become. About a 1.4 km stretch of road from Red Fort to Fatehpuri Masjid has been beautified. Traffic within the area has also been fixed. it’s now become a crucial tourist spot in Delhi. we’ve many other plans for its further upgradation still,” the Chief Minister said.

The place are open till 12 am and street food joints are going to be allowed as many of us come for a get into the world late within the night, Arvind Kejriwal announced, adding, it’ll attract more tourists.
On the system of the metropolis, he said, “We have inherited the damaged system of Delhi. we’ve got plans to repair the system of the whole Delhi. the complete process of waterlogging will end, but it’ll take time to mend it as this may be a giant project”.
