All the preparations for offline special matriculation exams 2021 are completed. The exams will be conducted in offline mode. All the necessary Covid-19 protocols will be strictly followed. The announcement was done by School and Mass Education Minister, Samir Ranjan Dash.

There are 504 centers across the State for special offline exams. More than 15000 students have filled up forms for the exams. All the students who filled the forms were dissatisfied with their class 10 results. The results were announced on 25 June this year. The students were not satisfied as the results were based on a certain evaluation criterion.

This year class 10 results were announced without conducting the Board exams. The decision not to conduct the board exams was taken amid the covid-19 situation this year. The offline Matric examination will conclude on August 5, 2021.

“The offline matriculation examination will be conducted at 504 centers across the State. The exams will be held in strict compliance with the SOP issued to all teachers by the State government,” said Samir Dash.

BSE president, Ramashish Hazra said necessary instructions have been issued to all teachers and those engaged in examination duty to ensure that all the Covid-19 guidelines are strictly followed.

All the staff engaged in duty are covid tested earlier. The availability of vaccines is a big challenge. Hence mostly teachers are vaccinated and others are tested negative for Covid-19.

Special squads at district levels have been constituted to ensure that there is no violation of Covid protocols.

Mobile phones are completely banned in examination centers. This is applicable to all the staff engaged in the center for examination purposes. Students will undergo thermal scanning before entering the examination center. Wearing masks, social distancing, and other norms will also be followed strictly.
