The schedule of Uttar Pradesh Gram Panchayat elections has been announced and with this, the postponement of UP Board High School (UP Board class 10th Exams) and Intermediate Examination-2021 (UP Board 12th class exams) has been decided. State Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Dinesh Sharma said that now the board examinations will be conducted only after the panchayat elections.

For this, now the UP Board of Secondary Education will release a new examination program for the board examinations soon.

According to the information received from the sources, the UP board examinations are now expected to start from the second week of May. The examinations were earlier to be held from April 24 to May 12 and now after the statement of the Deputy Chief Minister, there is every possibility of changing the date of board examinations.

One of the biggest reasons for changing the dates of examinations is that while more than 50 percent of teachers and non-teaching staff will be deployed in the polling of Gram Panchayat elections, more than 90 percent of polling stations will be built in school buildings. In such a situation, it will not be possible to conduct panchayat elections and board examinations simultaneously.

In addition, this time more than 56 lakh students are going to appear in the 10th and 12th board examinations of Uttar Pradesh. With this, corona cases are also increasing in the state every coming day ,students are concerned about their future which is currently on the cliffhanger, a lot of uncertainty has also lead to the frustration of students who are going to appear in exam.

UP Board examinations will be held at 8,513 centers this year. According to the information, out of 56,03,813 students who are going to appear in the board examination, 29,94,312 candidates are from the high school, while 26,09,501 candidates are from the intermediate.
