The Enforcement Directorate in Mumbai summoned Bollywood actress Yami Gautam on Wednesday for alleged violations of the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA).

According to authorities, the investigation agency discovered foreign exchange transactions in her bank account totaling Rs 1.5 crore.

Ms Gautam, 32, was called before as well, but she was unable to appear before the agency, according to the sources.

According to reports, the inquiry is being conducted under the Foreign Exchange Management Act’s civil processes.

Yami Gautam married film director Aditya Dhar last month.

Sharing the picture, Yami wrote, “With the blessings of our family, we have tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony today. Yami Gautam was most recently seen in Puneet Khanna’s Ginny Weds Sunny. In the Netflix original film, she shared screen time with Vikrant Massey. Bala, Heo, Yuddham, Badlapur, Sanam Re, Kaabil, and Uri: The Surgical Strike, which was Aditya’s first film, are among her credits. Bhoot Police and Dasvi are two of her future ventures.

Vicky Donor, in which she co-starred with Ayushmann Khurrana, was her Bollywood debut.
