Ads will now appear in Reels on Instagram. The social network behemoth is officially launching Reels advertisements after a successful test in a few locations. Full-screen advertisements will appear on Instagram, and they will be vertical, similar to ads in Stories.

Between each Reel, there will be advertisements. The commercials can last up to 30 seconds, according to the business, and users will be able to comment, like, see, save, and share Reels adverts.

The advertising will also display in the most popular places to access Reels material, according to Instagram. The Reels tab, Reels in Stories, Reels in Explore, and Reels on your feed are all examples of this.

“Reels is the best place on Instagram to reach people who don’t follow you and a growing global stage where brands and creators can be discovered by anyone. These ads will help businesses reach greater audiences, allowing people to discover inspiring new content from brands and creators,” Instagram said.

“Just like any other ad on Instagram, we will also provide people with controls on the Reels ads they see. If people see an ad they don’t like, they can skip the ad, or tap the menu on the post to hide or report it,” Instagram said in a blog post.

When a user taps into a reel from Stories, Feed, the Reels Tab, or Explore, they will be taken to a viewer that only displays vertically scrolling reels.
Reels advertisements were originally tested in certain locations earlier this year, including India, Brazil, Germany, and Australia, by the Facebook-owned firm.

Later, the corporation ran advertising in Canada, France, the United Kingdom, and the United States. BMW, Nestlé (Nespresso), Louis Vuitton, Netflix, Uber, and other firms have embraced the new format.
