In Instagram Stories, screenshots of tweets are fairly prevalent. However, this means that all of the screenshots must be saved, using up space on the user’s device, and the publishing process will be slower. However, that is about to change, as Twitter has released an iOS functionality that allows users to share tweets straight as Instagram Stories.

In a tweet, the undersigned stated “Please stop posting screenshots of Tweets on IG Stories,” Twitter said on its official account. On iOS, you may now share Tweets directly.”

In a couple of weeks, Instagram and Twitter users on iOS will be able to share tweets as Stories. They simply need to open a tweet, touch the share button, and choose Instagram Stories from the list of possibilities that appears. For this to operate, both social networking platforms’ apps must be installed on the device. Twitter will ask for your permission before launching Instagram and sending the tweet.

It will post the tweet as a card with beautifully rounded corners on Instagram Stories if permission is given. Users, on the other hand, will have to go to Twitter to find the tweet, according to reverse engineering blogger Jane Manchun Wong.

Additionally, this upgrade only allows users to share tweets on Instagram Stories, not Instagram posts; users must still use screenshots if they want to share a tweet in this manner. The ability to share tweets via direct messaging is still available.

The new feature, however, will prevent users from posting any protected tweets. There is no word on when this functionality will be available in the Android version of Instagram. For the time being, Android users can only share tweets on Instagram as direct messages.
