Bhopal: The Karnataka surveys led by BJP these days, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today went after the Congress saying it is the ideal opportunity for the gathering to change its name from INC to ‘Congress (PMP)’ – inferring the main three spots where it is in control now.

As indicated by the Election Commission figures, the BJP is ahead in more than 112 seats and seems set for getting a dominant part in the Karnataka Assembly.

Responding to it, Chouhan said the Indian National Congress (INC) should now change its name.

“With this #KarnatakaVerdict it’s the ideal opportunity for Congress to change its name from Indian National Congress to Congress (PMP) Congress – Punjab, Mizoram, Puducherry,” Chouhan said in a tweet.

Surveying in Karnataka was held for 222 of the 224 Assembly situates on May 12.

In the active Assembly, the Congress had 122 seats, the BJP and the JD(S) 40 each, and littler gatherings and independents 22 seats.
