Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan gave away incentive to the players for their exemplary performance in international championships at Bhopal on Tuesday.

The chief minister handed over a cheque of Rs.10 lakh to Priyanshu Rajawat and cheques of Rs.25 lakh each to Gauranshi and Dhananjay Dubey for their exemplary performance in recent international tournaments.

State Minister of Sports and Youth Welfare Yashodhara Raje Scindia was present on the ocassion.

Priyanshu of Dhar district represented India in Thomas Cup of Badminton trophy a international sports event wherein India won Thomas Cup by defeating Indonesia that won continuous for last 14 years.

Chouhan told Priyanshu, “The destination is still there… you keep playing, you will get full support.”

Gauranshi Sharma of Bhopal has won gold medal in Badminton in team event at Deaf Olympics held recently in Brazil. While Dhananjay Dubey of Gwalior won silver medal in Tennis in Deaf Olympics. Chouhan extended his best wishes.

Public Relations Department principal secretary Raghavendra Kumar Singh and Sports Director Ravi Gupta were also present.
