Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will expand his Cabinet today. Preparations have been finalized in this regard. According to official sources, the swearing-in of the ministers will be held in Raj Bhavan at 9.30 in the morning. Governor Anandiben Patel will swear to new ministers. Chief Minister Chauhan met Governor Patel yesterday evening. They stayed in the Raj Bhavan for nearly half an hour.

Madhya Pradesh has assembly elections this year. In this sense, all of the cabinet expansion was particularly awaited by the leaders of the ruling party BJP. It is believed that some new faces can be included in the cabinet. At the high level, there are indications that almost three new ministers can be sworn in.

In the 230-member assembly, there can be a maximum of 35 ministers in the state including the Chief Minister. Presently, besides the Chief Minister, there are 19 Cabinet and nine Ministers of State. In this way, the maximum number of people can be made as ministers only after removing them without a minister.
