In Madhya Pradesh, the education workers have shaved their heads and grab the government’s attention towards their rights. Under the teacher’s authority in the capital, both male and female teachers shaved their heads.

Government Teachers have registered their protest under the Teacher’s Rights Tour in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The teachers shrugged their heads in support of their demands. Education workers have long been demanding equal pay and appropriate transfer policy for similar tasks. Education workers have raised other demands as well.

Angered by the government’s commitment to the promise, the women teachers have shaved their head according to their declaration. Many female teachers, including Shilpi Shivan, president of Azad Teacher’s Union.

There was considerable reaction in the whole state on this incident. Teachers have long been demanding that their job should be made permanent and pay equal pay for similar works. The teachers performed memoranda, strike, rally and several times under the movement. But the female teachers took this big step by annoying the promise of the government.

The teacher organization has alleged that the government is trying to suppress the movement. The organization’s officer Rituraj Tiwari said, “About 25 thousand teachers who have been involved in the protest, have not been allowed to join the movement.”

For the past two weeks, administrative officials refused to give place to the officials for the movement in the city. Officials demanded a rent of Rs 1.45 lakh for protesting against BHEL’s Jamburi field. According to officials, the rent will be paid by donating to the BHEL management.

It is worth noting that teachers have been protesting for the long time since the demands of compassionate, deceased discrepancy, promotions and benefits of seventh pay scale to members of the family of deceased teachers in the education department, but the government is ignoring their demands. .
