Manohar Parrikar, 4-time Goa Chief Minister and former defense minister, has passed away at the age of 63 after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.

Goa CM Manohar Parrikar was in a critical condition from the past few months.

Parrikar was frequently visiting hospitals in Goa, Mumbai, Delhi and New York ever since the diagnosis on February 2018 stated that he was suffering from severe pancreatic cancer.

From an RSS pracharak to a Union Minister, the first ever to be an IIT graduate in the state assembly who turned politician, was known for his administrative acumen and clean image.
