PM Modi: India has been the birthplace of many great men, one such man was Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. On January 23 the nation celebrated his birthday in a different way. I was invited to inaugurate a museum which acknowledged the contributions of the freedom fighters of India. During my recent trip to Andaman, I hoisted the tricolour on December 30 at the same place that Netaji had 75 years ago. When I unfurled the Indian flag at Red Fort on October 30 a lot of people were surprised, it was done to commemorate the 75th year of the foundation Azad Hind Party. Netaji will always be remembered as a brave soldier and an abled organiser. with his slogans like; ‘Dilli chalo’, ‘Tum mujhe khoon do, main tumhe azadi dunga’, he created a special space for himself in every Indian’s heart. There was a constant demand for the release of files related to Netaji’s death. We are happy to have fulfilled these demands to make the files public.
