J&K. Jammu Kashmir Police has arrested four people from the SMHS hospital in the city for allegedly involvement in the extradition of Pakistani terrorist Mohammed Naveed Jatt of Lashkar-e-Taiba. Police sources said that in the case of Jat’s escape, people named Shakeel Bhat, Tika Khan, Rahil Kachru and Mohammad Shafi have been arrested.

He told that on February 6, the mastermind of the incident of the escape of 22-year-old Mohammed Naveed Jat alias Abu Hanjaala was a convoy. Police told that the motorcycle of Bhat was used in the attacking of Naveen. He told that the Pulwama resident Khan allegedly provided his car allegedly to get Jat out of the city.

Police sources said that the Jat may be in the Pulwama area of ​​southern Kashmir at this time. Kachroo was another associate of those who helped provide the escape to the Jute after firing on policemen. Shafi, resident of Narrabal on the outskirts of Srinagar city, presented himself as a patient to provide cover for helping the terrorists escap. The police arrested all these four people during raids at different places in Pulwama after receiving intelligence information.

However, the police said that Hilal, a resident of Pulwama, is absconding, who is helping to escape the jute and is believed to be with Jhat. On Tuesday, Jat was absconding when at least two other terrorists attacked the police team in the SMHS hospital here. Two policemen were killed in this attack.

In a related development, Jammu and Kashmir’s Home Department suspended Central Jail Superintendent Hilal Ahmed. This is said here in an official order. Until the completion of the investigation, he will be associated with the DG Jail Office.
