PM Modi visited Sivasagar, Assam where he distributed land allotment certificates. The certificate are given to lakhs of Adivasis, indigenous assam families ,who were landless since independence. PM Modi said” when BJP had formed government in Assam , there were 6 lakh landless people , but Sonawal govt’s efforts reduces it 2.25 and 1 lakh is now added to it. Giving tribute to Subash Chandra bose on his 125th birth anniversary ,PM Modi said that , the country has decided to celebrate it as “PRAKRAM DIWAS”.
PM Modi also praised the Sonawal govt for their effective handling of COVID 19 crisis .he also stated that “he feel confident that Assam will take forward the vaccine drive now.
