Pakistan is set to release Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman on Friday who was captured on February 27 after the Pakistan Air Force violated the Indian aircraft and downed a MiG 21 ‘Bison’ aircraft.
External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj was scheduled to speak at the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Abu Dhabi at 1 p.m.
AT the conference, she raised the issue of terrorism, amidst India-Pakistan tensions following the Pulwama terror attack.
