Alirajpur: Bhagoria Haat, celebrated in the tribal region, started today. The Bhagoria Haat-Bazaar fair, which takes place before Holi in the month of Phagun, takes the form of fair and the color of Phagun and love are scattered everywhere.

This year Bhagoria Haat will be celebrated from 22 to 28 March at different places in the district. The colors of the traditional folk culture of the tribals are seen in this haat. It is celebrated with great enthusiasm from the tribal society.

Adivasi society celebrates festivities with gaiety

The tribal society celebrates Bhagoria Haat like a festival with enthusiasm, zeal, and joy. It is a celebration of life and love, celebrated with music, dance, and colors. In Bhagoria Haat, young men and women come in attractive costumes. Their jewelry and costumes remain the center of attraction.

Administration will keep an eye

Regarding Bhagoria, SDOP Dheeraj Babbar told that the police administration is also ready to protect the Haat from the  Corona epidemic, the police department will be monitored by drone cameras and CCTV.


Foreign tourists will not be able to participate

Dheeraj Babbar, SDOP  informed that the police force will also be deployed in large quantity in Bhagoria fair, due to Corona infection, this time foreign tourists will not be able to participate in Bhagoria.

As the cases in Madhya Pradesh reported 1,140 coronavirus cases, which took its total of cases to 2,73,097. The state now has over 6600 active cases keeping this in mind the Bhagoria Mela will celebrate keeping all the precautions in mind and following the rule of social distancing and wearing a mask will be a must in this gaiety.

The state’s death count witnessed an increase of 7 today. 3,901 people have died in Madhya Pradesh since the start of the pandemic. Indore (309 cases), Bhopal (272 cases), and Jabalpur (97 cases) were the worst-affected cities.
