Congress senior leader and MP (Rajya Sabha) Digvijay Singh claimed the BJP says something and does something else.

He was responding to a query over the BJP reportedly will not take support of freebies to vow voters in future elections.

The BJP says something and does something else, they talk of development but their object is to earn and collect money thereafter contest election on basis of religion, he alleged.

Singh was in Jabalpur on Sunday to attend a function organized to release a book ‘Deh Durg Me Ek Taral Atma : Rameshwar Neekhra.

Neekhra is former Member of Parliament and senior Congress leader, the book written on his fond memories.

Talking to the reporters, Singh said Narendra Modi got elected by making promises like Rs. 15 lakh will be transfer in bank accounts of citizens, providing jobs, bringing back black money, on reaching the destination now want to forget those promises.

On asked about GST on flour, milk, wheat, etc., Singh said why the Centre does not impose GST on liquor and meat.

Adding he said now air and water is left, they (the Centre) might impose GST on air and water too.

About damage of a patch of the express way in Bundelkhand was inaugurated by the prime minister few days back, Singh said the construction is sub-standard and it got damaged within fortnight.
