Madhya Pradesh Human Rights Commission has sought reply from the superintendent of police Rajgarh district over incident of the cops allegedly brutally beaten up a youth whose eardrum was ruptured and sustained deep body injuries.
The youth has alleged the police released him after taking Rs.50000.
MPHRC chairman Justice Narendra Kumar Jain took cognizance over the incident and sought reply within three weeks from the SP, Rajgarh
The Superintendent of Police (SP) on learnt about the incident suspended five cops including assistant sub inspector (ASI).
The youth unsatisfied with the SP’s action made a complaint to the State Home Minister. It may be mentioned that in village Kodia under jurisdiction of Boda police station in Raigarh district, Shubham Sisodiya Sansi went on May 29 last to Bheswa Mata Gaon in a religious programme.
The police picked him saying he is accused in some case and boarded him in the four wheeler and took him ot Leemachauhan police station where he was allegedly brutally beaten up and after one hour taken to Boda police station of the district.
After pursuing Town Inspector Ramnaresh Rathore gave Rs.50000 and he was released. The complainant was warned not to tell the incident to any person, the official note of MPHRC said.
Due to beaten his ear was paining and went to the doctor in Sujalpur where after examination doctor told the eardrum is raptured.
