India on Wednesday banished import of unfamiliar robots with quick impact with an end goal to empower homegrown assembling of robots, a trade service official said after a proper request was given.

The authority refered to above said the import of robots under the three exemptions will be allowed solely after taking required authorizations and clearances.

The notice comes days after the service of common flight gave the robot confirmation plot on January 25 to specify least security and quality necessities to support native assembling.
