31-year-old army personnel from Akola, Agra lost his life during an unfortunate incident in Rajasthan’s Pokhran. On Tuesday night during paramilitary exercises in firing range, the jawan kicked the bucket after a cannon barrel detonated and injured four servicemen.

 The barrel detonated when cannons (105 MS-Guns) were being fired. Officials of the BSF ordered an inquiry into the accident. Family members stated the information was obtained from a friend of Satish’s at 11 p.m. on Tuesday night. He said the explosion wounded four paratroopers. Satish and others were quickly rushed to the hospital where the doctors pronounced them dead. Satish was told to be dead by the doctors. He was currently posted in Bhuj, Gujarat. For maneuvers, he went to Pokhran.

31-year-old Satish Chahar, child of Chhatrapal Chahar joined BSF in 2010. Satish was the oldest of four siblings. Satish’s dad is a farmer. When the information on Satish being martyred reached, a rush of grieving seethed in the whole town including the family. Satish’s better half Sonia and their eight-year-old girl Aaradhya are in an appalling state. Satish was posted in Jaisalmer.

Father said that the 31st birthday of Satish was to be observed on March 10. He was the oldest of four brothers and two sisters. Everyone at home was thrilled that the birthday would be celebrated with pomp. Waiting for March 10th, but the saddening word of the death came home.
