Yogi Adityanath visited the under-construction temporary Covid hospital at Awadh Shilp Gram on Shaheed Path, which is being set up by the Defence Research and Development Organisation, shortly after being declared Covid negative by doctors on Friday (DRDO).

Yogi Adityanath said in a tweet, “Due to the good wishes of all of you and the treatment of doctors, I have now become corona negative.” Thank you all for your cooperation and best wishes.”

On April 14, the CM announced via Twitter that he had tested positive for Covid.

The CM had tweeted, “When I first noticed the signs, I got Covid tested, and my report came positive.” I am in self-isolation and am strictly adhering to the advice of doctors. I complete all tasks virtually.”

Despite testing positive, the CM was able to go about his daily business practically uninterrupted by his official residence.

He attended Team-11 meetings on a daily basis. He’d even gone to PM meetings and had several simulated meetings with authorities. Early this month, the CM has got the first dose of the Covid vaccine.

On Friday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inspected the DRDO hospital in Awadh Shilp Gram.  This DRDO hospital, which will be operated by defense physicians, was proposed by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, a Lucknow MP

Yogi Adityanath assessed care arrangements. He paid a visit to the facility, which will be known as the Atal Bihari Bajpai Covid Hospital. Later, the CM tweeted about his tour, saying that the battle against the corona disease was being waged with vigor.

“We will defeat Corona and emerge victorious,” he tweeted. According to a government spokesman, it will be the largest Covid facility in the district. He mentioned that the DRDO is working on the hospital on a war footing, and will have 500 beds, including 150 ventilator beds.

“DRDO finished the work in a few days, and the trial is expected to begin shortly. This is one of the largest health facilities designed for the citizens of Lucknow,” he stated.
