Professional makeup artist, Rachna Shewani had learned at an early age the importance of accepting — and loving — who you are.
She was instilled in the philosophy by her parents that “the things that make us feel happy are the qualities that make us beautiful.” And This statement has become her mantra by which she lives and the power behind this which has led to the great success and fame in various different fields. It is Her natural ability to make clients not only look beautiful, but feel beautiful, which made her favorite among a versatile group of models, professional artists, actors and all other her clients from Bollywood and TV industry as well. Not only a make up artist, she also lived a life of a model, singer, Chef, state level badminton player exectra.
Yes! She is a multitasker, multi-talented woman who already have so many crowns on her head .. and most importantly, she’s a great home maker who balances her responsibilities between her family and profession. 
She won the Title of Mrs. Bhopal..
When Disha News asked her about her inspiration for her work, She said,’ I think of my work as sharing an isolated moment, keeping it alive and making it timeless.’ As she sees it, “I’m always working hard to push forward, because art is a language that people add to. If people emulate my work then that’s a positive thing, it’s very complimentary.” 
She also won the title of the show ‘Big Memsaab’ on Big magic channel and She has been the winner of the program of ‘wheel smart Shreemati’ on the TV channel DD National and also, a member of the show ‘Happy house Club’ on SAB TV.
Disha News had this amazing conversation about make-up trends and her experiences! Find out what she says:
What made you choose modelling?
“I started doing Modeling just as a hobby and surprisingly, it brought me into surprising situations, meeting inspirational people and it gave me the opportunity to see so many different places. Besides that, it is obviously a pleasant financial supplement to my art practice. However, now I want to grow myself as make up artist. ”
She has also seen in the national TV Show MasterChef India on Star plus. Apart of that, she’s always in the centre of attention in media in many news channels such as ETV News,zee news and many more.
Today’s woman is super busy. What is the easiest/quickest way to turn the look of the day into something that works for night out?
What I do to add “instant fierceness” is Lining my inner rim with a dark eyeliner. Black of course is a go-to, Though, you can also go for a plum or great Navy to really brighten the eyes! But do make sure if it’s waterproof and is approved for using on the inner rim!

Please tell our readers about your favorite Fall/Winter 2018 beauty trends?
RS: I must say, usually, I always like to wear a smoky eye and a pink lip. Always. But, lately, I have been branching out and doing a red lip! There’s something so trendy and classic, yet so modern about it! And with today’s amazing innovations, you need not to worry about it traveling all over your face!
The secret behind her fitness is regular excercise and cycling. She’s a member of the GBPRA club. Bicycle riding is her fitness mantra.
What do you think are the comfort-zone-friendly ways to rock the latest trends?
As far as I concern, there are no rules! If you wish to rock a trend, I say go for it, and just remember that you are fierce enough to pull it off! Still, I totally understand that sometimes, it may take a little time to get used to seeing yourself with different makeup than you usually wear. Here’s a quick tip for that: If you are looking forward to try a bold color on your eye, but are not ready to do it as a full shadow, then to try use a fun colored eyeliner! So When you blink, you’ll just show off a hint of that gorgeous color, which will really help to brighten the face of yours!
You’ve also been a playback singer, How do you manage to do everything at once? Isn’t it challenging?
“The biggest challenge of my life has been wanting to do EVERYTHING! I always wish like a little girl in my prayers that I could clone myself so that I could do everything for work and also become a full-time mommy at the same time, and I understand that so many women feel the same way. It is a big challenge for me to step back, take a moment to breathe, and to accept the fact that I logistically just can’t do everything in a go and be everywhere at the same moment.”
No doubt, being a multi-talented women, she is invited to judge many reality shows too.
What are the three makeup item should no woman leave home without?
According to me, Concealer, lip gloss, mascara!

It gives those never ending boundless options – making someone look so different. Changing people’s image to suit their mood or moment. It’s totally endless.
