MUMBAI: Bollywood on-screen character and producer Arbaaz Khan has conceded that he put down wagers in six matches amid the IPL, say Zee News sources. It is likewise being said that his ex Malaika Arora thought about his propensities and it was one reason why they got isolated. According to sources, Arbaaz was conveyed eye to eye with Sonu Jalan nom de plume Sonu Malad, who is accepted to be one of the best bookies in the nation. The two were apparently tested together for almost seven minutes.

The Thane Police had summoned Arbaaz in the wake of Sonu’s capture regarding the claimed IPL wagering case. The IPL wagering racket was busted on May 15 by the Anti-Extortion Cell (AEC) of Thane Police’s wrongdoing branch with the capture of four individuals in Mumbai, including Sonu Jalan.

It has been accounted for that Sonu used to extort Arbaaz over a video. The police are probably going to have addressed Arbaaz over the points of interest and whereabouts of the video as well.

After the capture of four individuals, the police amid the examination had set up an “association” amongst Jalan and Arbaaz, said Senior Inspector Pradeep Sharma, leader of the AEC.

Arbaaz had supposedly lost Rs 2.80 crore in wagering to Jalan and was not paying the sum, following which the bookie had debilitated the on-screen character, the authority said refering to the cross examination of the captured charged.

Jalan purportedly ran his wagering racket from Dombivli in Thane locale of Maharashtra. Jalan has been captured regarding the case under areas 420,465,468,471rw 34 of the IPC, segment 4(A),5 of the Gambling Act and furthermore IT Act 66A enlisted in the Dombilivi police headquarters.
