Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will inaugurate the first edition of Kuno Forest Festival on December 17 at Kuno, Sheopur.

This festival aims at harnessing tourism potential in the Kuno Forest Retreat (Tent City) constructed in village Ranipura of Sheopur district.

Tourists will enjoy luxury glamping in the tent city located near Kuno National Park. 

Also, tourists will have a thrilling experience with activities like hot air ballooning, paramotoring, jungle safari.

MLA Vijaypur Ramniwas Rawat, Principal Secretary Tourism Shiv Shekhar Shukla will also be present in the inaugural programme.

The first edition of Kuno Forest Festival is being organized by Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board from December 17 to December 21.

The Kuno Forest Festival, being organized by Eyak Ventures Private Limited and Lalluji & Sons in collaboration with Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, will provide a unique experience of thrilling events along with cultural programmes.

Various activities and workshops to promote local art and culture will also be held.

This festival will be a combination of adventure, entertainment and culture. Jungle safari will also give visitors a chance to witness the a wide spectrum of wildlife in the area.

It will promote the cultural heritage of Madhya Pradesh along with traditional art, cultural events and delicious dishes.

At Kuno Forest Retreat (Tent City), tourists will be able to experience luxury glamping in all-weather tents.

Principal Secretary, Tourism and Managing Director, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, Shiv Shekhar Shukla has said that Madhya Pradesh attracts tourists from all over the world for its diverse and rich wildlife.

Tourism in the state is being facilitated through initiatives like Kuno Forest Festival.

The Tourism Department is committed to continuously improve infrastructure and experience based tourism near the National Parks of Madhya Pradesh. 

From extraordinary luxury glamping to a wide range of cultural activities, new and unique experiences are being ensured for its visitors.

The department is also committed to launching environment-friendly initiatives and conservation efforts while ensuring active participation of the local community through employment opportunities.

Many activities including various types of adventure sports, arts, crafts, music, village tour, food will be organized in the five-day festival.

A tent city has been developed for the tourists, in which 50 fully equipped Swiss tents have been installed. Display of art and culture by local artists is the main attraction.

The festival will have adventure sports and thrilling activities for nature enthusiasts. Tourists will be able to enjoy the experience of para sailing, hot air ballooning, paragliding, star gazing with silent DJ, jungle safari, Dev Khoh tour and night walk.
